The purpose of the Forum

Plenary: to discuss acceleration of Russian economy modernization and diversification via involving Russian companies, inter alia SMEs, into international business relations, especially with European countries in line with the joint initiative Russia-EU “Partnership for Modernization”; role of Moscow city – capital of Russia – in that as a potential international business and financial centre likewise a catalyst for internationalizing companies, including SMEs, in Russian regions; assistance to Russian industrial enterprises in generating bankable investment projects and business partnership proposals, extending their export-import operations, attracting FDI and modern technologies..   

Round-Tables:  «Russia-EU “Partnership for Modernization”. Role of development institutions», «Moscow as an International Business and Financial Centre»;«Main directions of regional investment climate amelioration Policy. Role of public and SMEs entrepreneurs’ organizations in internationalizing Russian SMEs».

Matchmaking: will be devoted to bilateral negotiations between Russianindustrialcompanies, inter alia SMEs, in production, R&D and services with business partnership proposals, including investment projects, and willing to identify potential business partners in Europe, and European companies, inter alia SMEs, and business support institutions which would have shown interest with regard to Russian business proposals and projects or which, in their return, are offering cooperation, including investment projects, to Russian business community.

European and Russian companies from the following sectors are invited to take part in theForum:

The forum will bring together potential commercial and joint venture partners to discuss possible forms of cooperation to implement business partnerships / investment plans being tabled. All those participating in this business - investment forum share one thing in common, the desire to broaden their contact network and to find new partners for technical as well as commercial purposes. The forum provides a unique opportunity for you to find new business contacts.

Participation Terms

Participation for European companies and institutions is free of charge. They pay their own travel and accommodation costs. Upon individual requests (corresponding forms are to be filled in) two additional payable services could be provided to the forum participants:

- Prior to the forum and upon registration placing company’s advertising material on the forum’s site under “Participants’ Advertising” (in WORD format with/without photos incorporated into the text, preferably in Russian, max. 3 pages in Times New Roman-12 font, without contact details). The service price is € 200 (without VAT 18%);

- During the matchmaking forum providing a company with a 4 м² stand. The service price is € 400 (without VAT 18%).

Against a minimum financial support of the forum (€ 945) a company would be provided with a stand, possibility of presentation, its logo will appear on the forum banner.

Registration for matchmaking

Registration is opened till 11 April 2011. Apply for, fill in the Registration Form / Company Profile and send it to the Organizer by e-mail (russia-europe_map@mail.ru). It is important that you make an accurate and brief description of your company and your desired cooperation with Russian potential partners. This text forms the basis of the entry in the online catalogue on the forum’s website and is used by all participants prior to the forum to assist them in making the choice of companies they wish to meet during the event.

Please note that the sooner you register the earlier information on your company will appear on the forum’s site and for a longer period your offer will be available for Russian companies. This increases the number of your possible meetings during the forum.

Registration for Plenary and Round-Tables

Registration is opened till 04 April 2011. Apply for, fill in the Plenary/Round Tables Registration Form and send it to the Organizer by e-mail (russia-europe_map@mail.ru).

Investment Projects

Both European and Russian companies with investment project proposals are invited to fill in an Industrial Investment & Business Partnership Project Profile in addition to their registration / company profile form and send it together with the latter to the Organizer by e-mail (russia-europe_map@mail.ru) in WORD format.

Each profile has to provide with the following: (i) information on the enterprise (company name, address, telephone, fax and e-mail; contact person; present line of business; annual turnover; present ownership; share capital; number of employees); (ii) project description (purpose of the project; main characteristics of the products to be produced; estimated investment costs; foreign cooperation sought); (iii) investment (pre-production capital; initial fixed investment; initial working capital; total); (iv) assessment of the market.

Best Investment Projects Concours.

If a company has an elaborated and bankable investment project it can submit it to a concours of the 3 best investment projects of the Forum. That would be in addition t oregistering tot he Forum and to holding matchmaking meetings with Forum participants. Investment projects screening would be done with involvement of the banks– MEA’ spartners to organizing the Forum. Concours’s participation is €350 (without VAT). Deadline for submitting investment projects to the concours is 31 March 2011.

Individual Bilateral Meetings

Full day on 18 April 2011 of individual bilateral meetings, scheduled upon request, between Russian firms and European companies and business support institutions proposing project proposals and investment/partnership projects to start negotiations on possible future business cooperation. Prior to the forum information on all registered participants will be available on the forum’s site under “Participants”. Everybody is meeting with everybody: Europeans are selecting Russian and European companies and business support institutions and Russians are selecting European and Russian companies and business support institutions for the meetings. All participants are invited to book in advance and not later than 11 April 2011 the meetings of interest to them by making use of a Meetings Request form to be sent to the Organizer by e-mail (russia-europe_map@mail.ru). All meeting schedules will be available on the forum’s site (www.ru-eu-cooperation-without-frontiers.com) prior to the forum. Meetings are to be held at numbered tables. English and Russian are the official languages. Each meeting will last for about 30 minutes. A large number of informal contacts can naturally also be made outside the "programme". Interpreters will be available upon request.

Our web-site (www.ru-eu-cooperation-without-frontiers.com) provides companies with an opportunity to place information on search of business partners and on their investment projects on a continuous basis through the year (period of placing information may vary from 1 to 6 months and could be extended upon company’s request; monthly payment is € 13 (without VAT). Likewise financial institutions have a possibility to place their information on project financing terms and conditions.Companies are also invited to make use of a sub-programme “My Supplier” which is targeted at facilitating search for and financing of export-import operations (monthly fee for residents of Russia is Rbls.5,000 (without VAT) and € 250 (without VAT) for non-residents of Russia).
